1. Pastor’s Sunday
The church Pastor’s Sunday will be on September 25. There will be a dinner that night, 7pm at Fulin Restaurant next door. The Parish Pastor Relationship Committee sincerely welcome brothers and sisters to join the dinner. Adults $25, children: (0-4 free, 4-12 half price, 12 and above full price) please register with Lay leader brother Dennie Ling, seats are limited. First come first serve.
2. Sunday School Teacher
Sunday school teachers please attend tonight’s farewell party for Sister Siang Hui at Sister Siew Hee’s residence (31 Hermitage Road, Auldana) at 6pm. Please bring a dish.
3. Chinese and English ServiceT
he English and Chinese service will be changing the worship venue on the first Sunday in September. Brothers and sisters please take note.
4. Local Conference
The church 2nd Local Conference will be on September 25 at 11am at the annex hall. All LCEC members, lay preachers please send your reports to the Conference Secretary Doreen Wong (d_wonghm@yahoo.com) before September 17. All church members please attend to listen and accept reports as well as new LCEC members.
5. Children Baptism
The church will be conducting children baptism during the Combine service on September 25. If any parents (on condition that both parents are baptised) wants their child or children below the age of 12 to be baptised, please register with Rev. Ling. Training will be on September 18 (Sunday) 1pm at the church office.
6. Blood Donation Drive
Social concern committee will be doing a blood donation drive on 9/9. Please write your name on the notice board. Venue will be the blood bank at Pirie Street. Time: 5:00pm. Please contact Brother Dennie Ling for more information.
